Hello! It’s me, Soula – Your Art Mentor.

I’ve been in the art trade for a while now, designing successful creative solutions, exhibiting my artwork and over the past decade, curating and working closely with artists and collectors as a gallerist and owner of Queenscliff Gallery.

But it still took a dear friend to point out that I’ve been freely offering great advice and have the skills to become a mentor.

It’s got me excited.

I indeed have the professional skill behind me, but where I feel my offering may be a little unique is my combination of a lifetime of careful observation through drawing and my position as a creative, self-employed individual.

I’ve been a director of creative thinking, guiding people to their intended outcomes.

If you are seeking a mentor, you may be seeking to clarify your thinking, express ideas more clearly, or crave catharsis. My private, one-on-one mentoring is for individuals who are serious about a regular art practice, whether or not they wish to pursue a commercial career.

Throughout my art, design and gallerist career, I have worked with small business owners with creative project needs, exhibiting artists, independent creatives, and those whose art is either a committed personal practice or a business.

The mentoring sessions will focus on close looking and thoughtful dialogue, helping you progress on your unique art path.

This is not teaching or critique; sessions with me are private conversations to help you bring your ideas to light. The sessions are not about pushing productivity, visibility, or sales (although I can help in those areas), it is about helping you understand your work more clearly, make aligned decisions, and articulate your practice in a way that feels true to you — whether that’s for your own happy vibes, to plan exhibitions, for personal projects, or selective professional opportunities.
