A Life hold-up

Not every day you swallow one of these…

Didn’t really want to go into details of my peripheral pain but since it’s been a peeving, disgruntled, very miffed (can you tell i’m trying very hard not to swear?) 4.5 years of living with this unnecessary evil, and having had an implant of a stimulation device, that I think its time to accept my life long ugly partner, get the details out there and possibly help anyone who might be stuck also. I have a list of brilliant practitioners (and also pathetic insurance kinds), and incredibly awful experience of the insurance/workcover system that comes with this issue (as if you need that on top of daily pain and slowly losing grip of life!!!) so really, I should help if I can. Email me soula@soula.com.au.

The image below is my implanted peripheral stimulation device. Thank you to my private health fund (HBA) for paying for it (no thanks to my workcover insurer who won’t pick up the bill), thank you St.Judes for making these and thank you Professor Teddy for implanting it (no, he didn’t really make me swallow it).

Dear subscribers, I’d like you to meet my new ‘gadget’, my new best friend.
